As featured in Knitting Magazine September 2018 issue! This yarn was used to design the charming Gwanwyn Sweater by Verena Cohrs.
What do you get when you cross a Bluefaced Leicester ram with an ewe selected from one of the hill breeds that thrive here in rugged Wales?
Its soft, strong and takes the dye like a dream. Lovely rounded strands with definition - suited to cables and texture, yet comfortable to wear next to the skin.
It is perfect for all types of clothing & accessories.
*Please note that even skeins within the same batch may vary- so always buy enough yarn for your entire project (and swatching!)
While you are knitting, be sure to alternate 2 or more skeins to avoid "pooling", this gives the garment a cohesive appearance, whilst maintaining the natural variation of botanical dyes.
